Eric Berdinis, Head of Carrier Product Management

Eric Berdinis is the Director of Product at Uber Freight and one of its founding members. With deep expertise in product development, logistics technology, and leadership, Eric has been at the forefront of transforming how freight is moved across the country. His work spans innovations in marketplace design and pricing strategies within the logistics sector. Prior to this role, Eric led product for Uber’s self-driving truck team, where he oversaw the historic completion of the first commercial haul using an autonomous vehicle. His career reflects a passion for blending technology and logistics to create impactful, scalable solutions.

Ran Sun, Senior Product Manager

Ran is a Senior Product Manager at Uber Freight. She has led development and overseen the success of many of the company's marketplace technologies, from bundling spot freight into contracts to the entirety of the carrier booking experience. She is now the lead of Uber Freight Exchange Spot, the company's newest spot procurement solution. Ran earned her BA from Dartmouth College and MBA from The Wharton School.

Chris Chmielewski, Senior Product Manager

Chris is a Senior Product Manager at Uber Freight and an early member of its tech team. With a robust background in product development, logistics, and operations, he has been instrumental in helping Uber Freight transform the way freight moves across the country. Chris’s expertise spans key areas of transportation, including procurement, shipment execution, shipment visibility, and risk detection. Before joining Uber Freight, Chris worked in technology consulting, developing innovative solutions for enterprise clients. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Most recently, Chris has been leading the development of Uber Freight Exchange Contract, a product designed to help shippers simplify their freight procurement processes.
