The use of orbit charts allowed me to see the patterns of performance at the intersection of metrics over time. We purchase data from Y charts. In contrast, those who outperformed were better at strategy and aligned with outcomes. We find that companies with an analytics center of excellence drove progress faster than those with a supply chain center of excellence. While companies build Supply Chain Centers of Excellence, most are not clear on what good looks like.
