On Monday, March 8th, a vice president of supply chain for a large retail chain – a chain with over 5,000 stores – spoke at Körber’s supply chain conference Elevate. Körber is a leading provider of logistics software, material handling, voice, and consulting solutions. There is high turnover in warehouses.
I recently attended Körber Supply Chain’s user conference, Elevate 2023. From the perspective of warehousing and distribution, inventory is related to the assets in the field that distribute power to customers within the region. I was fortunate enough to spend the beginning of this week at Manhattan Associates’ Momentum user conference. It was great to be back in person at a conference, seeing people face to face. Although virtual conferences do offer convenience, they lack a personal touch and the ability to network with others in person.
